The fourth day of Shiksha Saptah at Jaywant International School was dedicated to celebrating cultural heritage and artistic expression. The school organized a series of engaging activities that provided students with hands-on experiences in traditional crafts and arts.

Pottery Making and Bamboo Craft Workshop:

Students from grades 1 to 4 were given the opportunity to explore their creative talents in a workshop focused on pottery making and bamboo craft. The workshop aimed to introduce the young learners to the rich cultural traditions of pottery and bamboo craftsmanship, allowing them to mold clay and create beautiful bamboo items. Under the guidance of skilled artisans, the students enthusiastically participated, learning about the intricate processes and the patience required in these traditional crafts.

Cultural Gathering Performances:

The highlight of the day was the cultural gathering, where students from grades 6 to 10 showcased their talents through a variety of performances. The event featured traditional dances, music, and drama, reflecting the diverse cultural heritage of our country. The students’ vibrant costumes and energetic performances captivated the audience, providing a colorful display of cultural pride and creativity. Each performance was a testament to the hard work and dedication of the students and their mentors.

Painting Activity:

For students in grades 5 to 10, a painting activity was organized, encouraging them to express their artistic visions on canvas. This activity provided a platform for students to explore their creativity and enhance their artistic skills. The theme of the painting activity was “Cultural Heritage,” and students created beautiful artworks depicting various cultural symbols, traditions, and landmarks. The finished paintings were displayed around the school, turning the campus into a vibrant gallery of student art. .
